Lee Germeroth’s interest in photography led him to create his first business, Lee Germeroth Photography, five years ago in 2011. That interest in creating and growing businesses took its next step in January 2016 with his creation of Germeroth Consulting & Creative.
The digital marketing business he founded is an offshoot of his commercial photography businesses. “I wanted to break out my commercial photography from my wedding photography brand, so I pulled it into the marketing consulting business,” he said.
Germeroth Consulting & Creative offers a full suite of marketing solutions: commercial photography, videography, branding, business coaching, data analytics, web design, content creation, copywriting, social media marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and more.
He and his team of contracted consultants are prepared for tasks large or small.
“I build my team from individuals who are very good at the things they do,” said Lee.
“We can specialize in something small for a big company or do everything for a small company.”
Lee is a graduate of Keene State College, where he was a management major with a concentration in marketing.
He was a social media marketing manager and SEO specialist for a Keene, N.H., digital marketing agency, and founded his photography business — which specializes in weddings, engagements, portraits, events and commercial photography — while working full-time.
He also team taught an Advertising & Promotion course at Keene State College.
As Lee Germeroth Photography’s owner, he worked on — and learned a lot from — everything associated with running a business, from to marketing to accounting to sales.
“Weddings are a very important day for the couple and their family. My goal is to tell their story in the most compelling way possible. I treat every event with the care and the trust that it deserves. The responsibility of documenting their day is one I take very seriously,” he said.
He applies the same devotion to storytelling in his marketing consulting business, using the variety of means available to tell a business’ story and enhance its brand.
When he moved to the Seacoast area from Keene in August 2016 he went looking for a place where he could meet clients.
Cooperative Venture Workspace was impressed with the flexibility of options, not only in the use of the space but in the various levels of membership.
“I really wanted to find a place that would work well for me, and match my brand,” said Lee. “I got the tour and fell in love with the space.”
