We considered, over the past few weeks, how to behave and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle while you chug away at your coworking space. Today we’ll consider how – and why — working here at the Cooperative Venture Workspace improves productivity.

Know yourself and your working style

Are you an office person? A cubicle person? Or are you more productive in a comfy chair? You know how you work best. A good co-working space, such as the Workspace, will have a variety of options available for members to accommodate their specific work needs and habits;

Set goals

You may only have a certain amount of time that you are working at your space. Focus on what needs to get done. Write out a to-do list if that’s helpful to you;

Take advantage of the knowledge base

A lot of smart people are at work in places such as the Workspace. Get to know them. They may have insights that are helpful to what you do. Make these contacts beneficial to you. Don’t use them as a means to procrastinate.

Take breaks

Take advantage of technology
