Second ‘Lunch & Learn’ to feature digital marketing expert
The Cooperative Venture Workspace will present its second Lunch and Learn event on Tuesday, Feb. 21, this one featuring Lee Germeroth of Germeroth Consulting & Creative.
Lee’s topic is digital marketing, with lunch in the cafe area starting at 11:30 a.m., followed by Lee’s talk in the adjacent conference room.
“Digital marketing is huge, confusing and has countless avenues to utilize and explore. So it is very easy for business owners to get overwhelmed and paralyzed by the options,” said Lee, who is a member of the Workspace, the co-working space located at 36 Maplewood Ave., in downtown Portsmouth.
During the talk, Lee said he’ll touch on the various aspects of digital marketing, including social media, content marketing, paid advertising, SEO (search engine optimization) and local SEO. The talk will include time for a Q&A.
“Digital marketing is very important for any business and any industry because no matter what you do your clients and customers will have at least one touch point with you online at some point,” said Lee. “If you aren’t in the digital world then you are missing out on a huge market — the largest single marketplace in the world.”
This is the second in what the Workspace intends to be a regular feature, not only for its members but also the public.
The first Lunch and Learn event was given by Maura Webster, founder and CEO at LillaBlu Strategies, also a Workspace member. In December she talked about marketing strategies to kick off the coming new year.
